I’m on the train commuting to work. I’m working on being more organized on my personal social platforms–planning posts and creating original content (how do some people make it look so easy?!). My favorite item is a dainty rose gold necklace my sister got for my birthday a few years back. It has a little bar pendant with tiny black diamonds–I wear it every day and feel naked without it!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU ABOUT THE WORK YOU DO?

Serving others–whether at work with customer service or through creating content that will help others in their journey. Service is crucial to my sustained happiness.

HOW DO YOU LIVE ‘MINDFULLY?’

I live mindfully by reflecting on how my actions affect me and my tribe. Lately it’s been a priority for me to focus on getting rid of excess material goods and learning how valuable less is.

WHAT’S THE FIRST THING YOU DO WHEN YOU WAKE UP?

Say hi to my dog (hi Somali!) and rub her belly.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO GET READY IN THE MORNING?

20 minutes–tops! I spend my night caring for my skin and prepping my hair to not be a total mess, so the morning is a quick one.

WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO WORKOUT?

Yoga! I recently received my yoga teacher training certification. It helps immensely with my overall mental and physical well-being. In my opinion, the mental clarity is most important.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP YOUR LIFE (AND CLOSET!) A LEAN, MEAN, CLUTTER-FREE MACHINE? 

I’m a bit of the creative, messy type. I say “creative” as an excuse to be messy…

What has been essential to getting my life in order is to have less and detox my belongings, especially my wardrobe on the reg. The less stuff I have, the freer my mind is and time begins to expand.

YOU’RE A BUSY BABE. HOW DO YOU BALANCE WORK, HEALTH, AND YOUR RELATIONSHIPS?

I’m a work in progress. Balance is never perfect; I care too much sometimes about work, which I guess is a good thing because I take pride in working hard. Outside of the day to day, I work on investing time and energy only on people and things that give me joy and that mean a lot to me. I use to care too much and now I just care about what matters. Life is a mutual give and take.
