RIGHT NOW: WHERE ARE YOU, WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON, AND WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE ITEM YOU’RE WEARING?
I am sitting at my desk with my window open, enjoying the spring air- finally!! I am working on some watercolors for future IMBY Inspo posts, and my favorite item I am wearing is my tiny broken ring that I got when I was 10. I never take it off.
SUM UP YOUR STYLE IN ONE SENTENCE.
I need to feel comfortable in what I am wearing. I love a good pair of jeans, but I would always rather be in a pair of leggings. Big sweaters and oversized tops are a favorite of mine. I wish I lived in a warmer climate, because if I could live in dresses I definitely would.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU ABOUT THE WORK YOU DO?
IMBY is creating more than just a brand for people to buy. We are creating a community for people to learn more about an intentional, healthy, ethical and sustainable lifestyle. We believe in being informed about the things we buy. We believe in dreaming big and working hard. We believe in empowering and celebrating women. I am inspired every day by the IMBY community and by the people that I work with.
HOW DO YOU LIVE ‘MINDFULLY?’
I try very hard to live in the moment. It is very difficult in the world we live in with emails, alarms, the internet and just the busyness of everyday life. I try to appreciate the little things, like how the sun comes through my window in the morning. When I am with friends and family I try my best to be there with them completely. That means not stressing out about what I need to get done or always checking my phone.
WHAT’S THE FIRST THING YOU DO WHEN YOU WAKE UP?
Drink a lot of water.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO GET READY IN THE MORNING?
I have gotten my morning routine down to a science. Since I am not a morning person I have perfected the art of getting ready in 15 mins.
WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO WORKOUT?
I love to run. Being able to run outside is one of my favorite things. It clears your head and allows you to really relax. I also swore up and down for years that I wasn’t a runner. It wasn’t until I really started to force myself to go outside and just move, that I realized just how much I loved it.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP YOUR LIFE (AND CLOSET!) A LEAN, MEAN, CLUTTER-FREE MACHINE?
Staying clutter- free is one of my weaknesses, and something that I have consciously been trying to work on. I try my best to go through my closet as often as I can and get rid of anything I have not worn in a while, and that I am only keeping because I hope one day I will. I try not to buy anything that I know will not last a long time and will not go out of trend in a year or two. It feels so good to have a clean de- cluttered environment, and that’s what I strive for.
YOU’RE A BUSY BABE. HOW DO YOU BALANCE WORK, HEALTH, AND YOUR RELATIONSHIPS?
It is tough! I try my best to stay in touch with all of my friends and family throughout the week. Having a support system helps keep me balanced and on track.
WHAT PODCASTS OR BLOGS DO YOU KEEP UP WITH?
I know it’s an oldie, but I absolutely loved Serial. I also religiously listen to NPR. Since working with Sara, I have learned about MindBodyGreen and I love checking out what’s new on their feed everyday.
WHO DO YOU ADMIRE?
My mom! She will always inspire me.
FAVORITE SPOTS FOR A HEALTHY MEAL?
JUGOS in Boston. My favorite spot for juices and acai bowls!

HEELS OR FLATS? Flats!
BUSINESS OR CASUAL? Casual-as long as I can wear leggings I am a happy gal
